Cubique Software was founded in 2002 by Eugen Mihailescu and his friend Calin Ardelean. They identified a unique opportunity to develop an enterprise software tailored specifically for the leasing industry.
Leveraging the same robust software framework, they introduced a second product adapted for the automotive sector. These solutions became the cornerstone of our offerings, exclusively serving the Romanian market. From our modest start, we have expanded to support over 30 client throughout Romania.
However, the 2008 financial crisis, which intensified into 2009, struck Romania hard, particularly impacting the financial and automotive sectors where we were most active. The crisis led to a significant downturn in our business, resulting in the de facto suspension of our operations.
